Leigh Daniel Haines

Leigh Daniel Haines (Danny), 53, beloved son of Peter L. Haines (2014) and Nancy E. Towle (1979), passed away suddenly, but peacefully on March 17th, on the Fishing Vessel Vanquish. He was the beloved husband and friend to Kathy, loving father to Jimmy, and wonderful step-father to Rachel.

Danny was truly the best friend anyone could have ever asked for--a good man and a great friend with a huge heart.

Danny was born in Connecticut, but called Fall River, MA his home for most of his life before coming back to settle in Pennsylvania. Danny was a commercial fisherman by trade. He was a good, loyal, hard worker--loved by all that worked beside him. He loved the simple things like spending time with his family, chatting with friends, and watching football--his beloved Miami Dolphins.

Danny had the ability to make friends where ever he went, if you were able to know him you were blessed. Our hearts ache as we remember all the precious memories he left us, words cannot express the loss of being taken from us too soon.

Danny is also survived by three sisters, five nephews, one niece, one great-nephew, four aunts, one great-aunt, a step-grandmother, five uncles, thirty cousins, and many friends.
