Ingvald A. Ingvaldsen was born in Norway to Ingvald Bentsen and Anna Naghesensdatlsen around 1916.

Funeral services will be held here at 10 tomorrow morning for Ingvald Ingvaldsen, crew member aboard the scalloper Ursula M. Norton, who drowned in an accident at sea Monday night.
Funeral arrangements have been prepared by Captain Ole Oleson, skipper of the vessel. The accident victim left no known survivors in this country.
Lieutenant-Commander Francis W. Twarog of Providence, senior investigating officer of the Division of Marine Inspection, Coast Guard, said today Ingvaldsen apparently was dragged overboard when he became entangled in an anchor line thrown over the side.
Commander Twarog's statement closed the investigation after a hearing on the accident was held here yesterday.
Around 9:25 PM on the evening of December 9, 1957, Ingvald Ingvaldsen was tangled in an anchor line aboard the scalloper Ursula M. Norton and went overboard. The incident occurred approximately 160 miles east of Pollock Rip Lightship.
Crew recovered the body about two hours after the accident.
